About us!

With years of combined experience in senior care and activity programming, Katie & her business partner are friends and advocates for vibrant and meaningful aging. As seasoned Activity Directors, they’ve each spent years designing programs that inspire movement, connection, creativity, joy and purpose in senior living communities.

Now, through Aravah Senior Activity Consulting they bring their shared expertise to help elevate other programs- infusing them with purpose, innovation, and heart. From training staff to supporting crafted calendars, state-ready documentation and organized resources, their mission is simple: to help seniors live life fully- every single day. Their philosophy is “to meet residents where they are” by tailoring programs to fit the needs of each and every resident; whether it be hearing impairments, vision, or physical limitations- their programs aim to benefit everyone.

Grounded in compassion, rooted in experience, and driven by a love for seniors, Katie & her team are here to support your community in creating programs that not only engage- but truly enrich.

Aravah means willow tree in Hebrew and it holds deep symbolic meaning that aligns with the aging journey. The willow tree represents:

Resilience & Flexibility

Wisdom & Experience

Peace & Reflection

Connection & Healing

This symbol highlights how seniors can grow, heal, and thrive through purposeful activities and connections through mind, body, & spirit.
